“BREAKING BARRIERS” Braunschweig 22nd – 25th March 2007
3rd MEETING OF THE COMENIUS PROJECT
A third meeting of the international project “Breaking Barriers” was held in Braunschweig, Germany the 22nd until 25th March 2007
The host of the meeting was Wilhelm Bracke Gesamtschule
and the host and the hostess of the meeting were Ulf Degen and Helga Hoffman.
Participant schools were as follows:
Bolyai János Általános Iskola Budapest, Hungary , Rusheymead School, Leicester England, Wilhelm-Bracke Gesamtschule, Braunschweig Germany,Germany , HS Stadtmitte Lüneburg, Lüneburg, Germany ,‘s Gravendreef College, ‘s-Gravenhage, The Netherlands , and Annersta Skolan, Huddinge, Sweden
The meeting took place in Braunschweig, Germany the 22nd of March until the 25th of March.
The purposes of the meeting were to fill in the new form for the next two years project, to write the mutual part of the evaluation of this year’s work and most of all, let some students meet for the first time!
Students from Sweden and Hungary were hosted by German families and took also part in their partner student’s daily school life!
During the meeting, practical discussions about the work with the twinning classes took place and detailed plans for the next year were worked out by the twinning teachers.
The whole project team was also working out how to be more effective in daily communication and how to make the web site more efficient.
Finally we worked out the arrangements for the next meeting with focus on students’ exchanges that will take place in Leicester October 2007!
